Here is a pretty interesting article from Bloomberg regarding Japanese/Chinese auto industry. Interesting to see cultural strife leading to industry struggles. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-09-18/japanese-automakers-bracing-for-bashing-in-china-protests.html
And earlier, for independent reasons, a riot in India closed a Suzuki Maruti assembly plant. The riot resulted in at least one death of a local manager and at least one murder charge.
